DI 200300 : Neuro Audio AEP, complete, 2 channels, with VEMP, TEOAE and DPOAE
One of the greatest human tragedies is language environment “falling out”. It is especially terrible for small children as total or partial loss of hearing usually results in language delay.
At present many developed countries of the world accomplish universal newborn hearing screening program. Regular hearing studies (monitoring) of children at risk for hearing loss and also children suffering from otitis or middle ear inflammation are very important.
Objective audiometry is the only method allowing to detect the hearing impairment in early stage, included in the arsenal of obstetricians, neonatologists and pediatricians.
Objective audiomety has several tools. The most widely-spread are the two of them: short-latency auditory evoked potentials (AEP) and otoacoustic emission (OAE) study. Each method has its own advantages, drawbacks and field of application.
AEP provide information concerning the whole auditory tract including pathways and is irreplaceable if the hearing impairments are the result of neurological disease.
OAE in more convenient for screening study as it takes little time. It is very important also because the long-term immobilization of a child is sometimes impossible. Several variants of this method exist, but in practice the most often used ones are transient evoked otoacoustic emission (TEOAE) and distorsion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE).
The creation of digital system for AEP and OAE high-quality registration is an extremely difficult task.
Our Company specialists managed to solve it perfectly and we are glad to offer you digital neurophysiological system for EP and OAE Neuro-Audio.
